Shipping Policy

1. Overview

At Maximus EU, we work with a carefully selected network of international fulfilment partners to bring you quality products at competitive prices. This allows us to source the best items globally and deliver them directly to your door.

This Shipping Policy applies to all purchases made through maximuseu.com and is fully compliant with European Union consumer protection legislation, including Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights. By placing an order, you agree to the terms set out below.

2. Order processing time

All orders are processed and dispatched within 1–3 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays) after payment has been confirmed. You will receive an email confirmation once your order is on its way.

During high-demand periods such as promotional sales, Black Friday, or the holiday season, processing may take up to 5 business days. We will communicate any significant delay via email.

3. Shipping destinations

We ship to all European Union member states, as well as to the United Kingdom, Norway, Switzerland, and Iceland. If your country does not appear at checkout, please contact us at support@maximuseu.com and we will do our best to assist.

4. Estimated delivery times

Our standard estimated delivery window is 5–10 business days from the date of dispatch. Delivery times may vary slightly depending on your location and local carrier performance.

Delivery estimates are provided in good faith and represent the expected timeframe for the majority of orders. They are not a contractual guarantee. Occasional delays caused by customs clearance, carrier disruptions, or extraordinary events may occur and are outside our control.

5. Shipping costs

Shipping costs, if applicable, are clearly displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase, in full compliance with Article 6 of Directive 2011/83/EU. Where free shipping is offered, the qualifying conditions will be shown on the relevant product or promotion page.

6. International fulfilment & customs

Maximus EU operates through international fulfilment partners. As a result, some orders may be dispatched from outside the European Union. In such cases, your order may be subject to customs inspection upon entry into your country. This process is typically seamless and does not cause significant delays for the vast majority of shipments.

For customers in EU member states, any applicable VAT is included in the displayed product price. No additional import duties apply for standard consumer goods entering the EU under the applicable de minimis thresholds.

For customers in the United Kingdom, Norway, Switzerland, or Iceland, local import duties or taxes may apply upon arrival and are the responsibility of the recipient. We recommend checking with your local customs authority if you are unsure.

7. Order tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. Tracking information may take up to 48 hours to update after dispatch, depending on the carrier.

If you have not received tracking information within 5 business days of placing your order, or if tracking has shown no movement for more than 7 consecutive days, please contact us and we will investigate promptly.

8. Delivery failures & incorrect addresses

Please ensure that the shipping address provided at checkout is complete and accurate. Maximus EU cannot be held responsible for non-delivery resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer.

If a parcel is returned to our fulfilment partner due to a failed delivery attempt or an address issue, we will contact you to arrange re-shipment. Additional shipping charges may apply in this case.

9. Lost or damaged parcels

If your order has not arrived within 15 business days of the estimated delivery date, or if you receive a parcel that is visibly damaged, please contact us at support@maximuseu.com as soon as possible, including your order number and, where relevant, photographs of any damage.

We will work with our fulfilment partners to investigate the matter and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement or full refund in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy and EU consumer rights law.

10. Force majeure

Maximus EU shall not be held liable for shipping delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather events, natural disasters, strikes, global logistics disruptions, pandemics, or government-imposed restrictions. We will notify affected customers as promptly as possible in such circumstances.

11. Your rights under EU law

As a consumer based in the European Union, you are protected by Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights. If goods are not delivered within the agreed timeframe, or within 30 days where no timeframe was agreed, you have the right to request delivery or to cancel your order and receive a full refund.
